- 1987 -Transfleet’s first aluminium tipper body manufactured and goes into service with Smith & Davies Ltd, a long-standing client still with us today
- 1988 -Transfleet’s first aluminium complete rig manufactured for Neville Bros. Ltd
- 1989 -First aluminium platform trailer launched
- 1992 -Introduction of ‘live’ or ‘walking floor’ trailer technology into the New Zealand refuse industry by Transfleet in collaboration with Hallco Manufacturing Co. Inc.
- 1992 -New Zealand’s first round front corner aluminium body goes into the R.E. Jackson fleet (now Jackson Roadhaul)
- 1993 -First hook bin trailer introduced joining the Waste Management fleet
- 1995 -First high tensile tipper chassis frame goes into the market significantly reducing tare weights by 400kg or more for Jackson Roadhaul.
- 1996 -In conjunction with Fairfax Fibreglass, first fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) foam core panel tipper introduced into the New Zealand market providing innovative weight saving advantages
- 1997 -The Transfleet Big Smoothy© smooth side aluminium dump body makes its New Zealand debut
- 1998 -Standardised “Outboard” mounted body runners allow chassis reinforcement fitting (if required) without affecting the fixed height of the body
- 1999 -First MK5 chassis placed into service evaluation, saving up to 200 kg over competing products
- 2000 -First Transfleet Clip Chip© panel body panel construction rig allowing 50m3 trailers to achieve a sub 6 tonne tare
- 2002 -Transfleet Clip Chip © panel product developed for the refuse industry. Two refuse trailer rigs supplied to the R. J. Doughty Ltd fleet incorporate livefloor technology.
- 2004 -First commercial trailer manufacturer to install Elliptitarp ground-operated roll over covers.
- 2005 -First New Zealand installation of Flexbow body crossbars
- 2006 -By volume produced, Transfleet is New Zealand’s top dump trailer builder.
- 2008 -First Santa claws@ auto taildoor clamps placed into service.
- 2009 -Transfleet/Walinga feed bin placed into service for Alderson Bulk Haul Ltd.
- 2010 -First Transfleet Clip-chip livestock unit placed into service for Sandford Livestock Ltd
- 2010 -First Transfleet scale alloy dump truck hits the road in the Jacson Roadhaul Fleet.
- 2011-By volume produced, Transfleet is New Zealand’s top dump trailer builder.
- 2014 -First steel Cargofloor floor trailer placed into service with Taylor Bros Ltd
